Well, the room I work in is quite cold. (Must protect precious computers from overheating!) and the polarbears have moved right on in to the area with the renderfarm. Or perhaps penguins (they're geographically closer afterall.) How ironic, to go to work in summer, armed with a jacket for warmth!
Selfpitying to follow:
Shifts at work have been ranging from a standard 8, up to to 20 hours, with an average of 14, working through weekends as well. I'm getting a bit tired of this. My eyes hurt, my brain is caught up in movements of pixel-fine-ness, its messing with my sleep.
I don't like playing the work martyr game, of working all hours to meet some pretty stupidly demanding deadlines - but I also have my own infernal sense of pride in "getting the stuff on my plate cleared on time" - more fool, me!
We better bloody well get credits on this movie, and I don't just mean 'the company name'. I'm slightly concerned because we are subcontractors to the effects provider.
Today's deadline, like the cake, is also a lie.
Did I mention it's cold, and I hate the crappy chirpy student radio that's on upstairs? The voices are really irritating me! End rant. *stomps back to desk*
